Job summary

NEMCSA in Northeast Michigan is seeking a Preschool Classroom Aide to support early learning and school readiness in a safe, nurturing classroom. You will assist with activities, support development, and partner with families.

This role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing training, health benefits, paid time off, and PSLF eligibility for eligible staff; physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.

Qualifications

• This role is active and hands-on, supporting young children throughout the day. Team members should be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and using their hands for a variety of classroom activities. The position may occasionally require driving, working flexible hours, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
• Assist with classroom activities, behavior support, and daily operations.
