Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide English Language instruction (ELA & ELL) per school goals.
• Develop materials, assessments, and lesson plans for varied levels.
• Select and order instructional materials with English department.
• Use technology effectively in classroom with students.
• Monitor and assess student performance and maintain records.
• Manage student behavior to provide a safe learning environment.
• Participate in English dept meetings and pedagogical planning.
• Attend meetings and professional development.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences as required.
• Liaise between students, parents, and school staff about English program.
• Perform supervisory duties per duty roster.
• Stay updated on educational trends and best practices.
• Maintain professional conduct in interactions with all stakeholders.
