The Preschool Associate Teacher role at Wonderful Education is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment for children ages 2-5. You will support developmentally appropriate practices and assist the lead teacher in daily activities.

Responsibilities include enforcing state regulations, planning age-appropriate lessons, resolving conflicts, and collaborating with staff to foster a child-centered program. CPR/First Aid/AED are required.

Formación

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
• A.A./A.S. degree preferred.
• Must hold a valid California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit.
• Must have 12 core units of child development and a minimum of 50 days of experience working in an early childhood environment.
• Active pediatric CPR, first aid, and AED certification.

Responsabilidades

• Knowledge of and ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations for a Preschool Center in CA.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities across all developmental domains.
• Encourage children to solve conflicts on their own.
• Interact with children and parents to create a welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop a child-centered program addressing social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs.
• Model kindness, consideration, and respect.
• Attend and participate in staff, center, and community meetings and events.
