Job summary

Keeping It Positive Learning Academy (KIPLA) in Austell, GA is seeking a Preschool Educator to inspire young learners. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with responsibilities including developing weekly lesson plans, aligning with GELDS, and maintaining a safe, engaging classroom environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience with preschoolers, GELDS knowledge, and a passion for early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Knowledge of GELDS and developmentally appropriate practice.
• Ability to plan and implement structured lesson plans.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Creative, patient, energetic, dependable.
• Meet Georgia childcare licensing and training requirements.
• CDA, TCC, or ECE credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate weekly lesson plans.
• Align activities with GELDS.
• Create and maintain classroom bulletin boards.
• Facilitate hands-on learning that fosters creativity, exploration, and critical thinking.
• Supervise outdoor play and promote physical development.
• Incorporate literacy, math, science, art, and sensory activities daily.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Observe and document scholars' developmental progress.
• Support positive behavior and social-emotional development.
