Job summary

Creative Image Learning Center in Decatur, GA is seeking energetic pre-school teachers to deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities aligned with GELDS and Abeka Curriculum.

You will coordinate lessons, supervise assistants, maintain records, and communicate with parents while complying with Bright from the Start rules and center policies. A CDA/TCC or degree in Early Childhood Education and current CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDA, TCC, or a Degree in Early Childhood Education or be working toward one.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification required.
• Bright from the Start fingerprint background check valid within 12 months.
• Ability to complete weekly lesson plans and follow state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement curriculum with developmentally appropriate activities.
• Lead by example and coach teaching team for success.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth.
• Maintain regular communication with parents through discussions and conferences.
• Ensure center policies and state regulations are met.
• Maintain a healthy classroom environment and safety practices.
• Supervise teacher assistants and volunteers to follow planned activities.
• Keep accurate records and files.
• Pursue ongoing professional development for quality improvement.
