Lakewood City schools is seeking a Monday-Thursday 7.5 hours per day (1/2 hour unpaid lunch) Preschool Classroom Assistant (Para-Professional) position for employment for the 2025-2026 school year. Qualified candidate will be assigned to Lakewood City Schools. Childcare experience preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of an educational aide certificate required.
• Prior experience working in an educational classroom setting, preferably preschool.
• Demonstrated aptitude for the tasks involved.
• Be courteous, tactful and understanding of young people.
• Desire, ability, and patience to assist and work with students.
• Knowledge of CPR, First Aid and Communicable Diseases.
