The Butler County Educational Service Center is seeking an Instructional Assistant for Lakota preschool programs in Ohio. Starting August 2026, this full-time position supports special education classrooms, assists with curriculum implementation, and ensures student safety and classroom operations.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, an Education Aide permit or eligibility, and relevant paraprofessional/education coursework.

Serve as an Instructional Assistant in the Special Education Preschool classes operated by the ESC. This position may include assignment to a classroom or to support a child with special needs one-on-one throughout the preschool day. The Instructional Assistant will contribute to the safe and effective classroom operation. They will follow all safety related practices and provide active supervision of students. They will assist in planning, directing and implementing the curriculum and help maintain records to document compliance with program rules and standards.
