Job summary

High Five Daycare is seeking a Preschool Education Director to oversee the educational program and support daily operations. The role requires NYS teaching certification and a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.

The candidate will lead curriculum development, support teachers, and ensure compliance with NYS childcare regulations while fostering strong family engagement and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS teaching certification in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a preschool/daycare setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of NYS childcare regulations and curriculum development.
