Job summary

Spurwink is seeking Ed Tech III professionals to work 1:1 with preschool students, implementing plans to teach communication, social, emotional and cognitive skills within a collaborative team. You will partner with BCBAs, SLPs, OTs and PTs to support ongoing development and complete daily documentation.

A Maine Education Technician III certification path is provided upon hire, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

Work 1:1 with students diagnosed with Autism and Developmental Disorders in the preschool classroom setting.
Collaborate with BCBAs, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists around interventions and progress.
Data collection and required paperwork to document services daily.

Responsibilities

Teach skills in communication, social interaction, play, emotional regulation, self-help and cognitive areas.
Implement educational and behavioral treatment plans throughout the school day.
Support classroom management and student learning.
