Spurwink in Chelsea, ME is hiring an Ed. Tech. III to support youth with behavioral, emotional, and developmental challenges in our special needs classrooms.

This full-time role includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus and pays $21.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience. A two-week orientation at Spurwink's training center is provided, with a 28-day summer program optional. III to collaborate with teachers and become an integral part of our special needs classrooms.This position pays between $21.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience and other job criteria.

This is a full-time position spanning the regular school year, as well as a 28-day summer program. Classroom placements are based upon skill and experience, and all new hires are provided with a two-week orientation at Spurwink's training center in Chelsea.

DUTIES:

• Support students with treatment goals and educational services throughout their school day.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Our Ed Tech III must have, or be eligible for, Maine Department of Education Educational Technician III certification by having earned a bachelor's degree (preferred) or by having earned a minimum of 90 college credits (required).
