Job summary

Spurwink seeks Ed Tech III candidates to provide 1:1 support for preschoolers, implementing plans to build communication, social and self-help skills within a collaborative multi-therapist environment. A week-long orientation is provided and the schedule runs 7:30am–3:30pm.

The role pays $20.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience, with a full-time school-year commitment and comprehensive benefits including life insurance and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or minimum of 90 college credits.
• Maine Department of Education Educational Technician III certification by hire or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with students diagnosed with Autism and Developmental Disorders in the preschool setting.
• Teach communication, social, emotional, cognitive, and self-help skills.
• Implement educational and behavioral treatment plans throughout the day.
• Assist in managing classroom environment and promoting learning.
• Collect and record data and complete required paperwork daily.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, SLPs, OTs and PTs on interventions and progress.
