Job summary

Waypoint, formerly known as Waban, is hiring Ed Tech III to deliver 1:1 instruction in a clinically intensive school-based program for children from Pre-K to grade 5 with autism and developmental disabilities.

Under supervision of certified educators and BCBAs, you will support social, behavioral, emotional, functional, and academic goals in ABA settings, with occasional transportation of students with parent permission.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 90 college credits required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certification as a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) preferred; training provided.
• Certification as an Educational Technician III preferred; assistance provided.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 instruction in social, behavioral, emotional, functional, and academic skills.
• Collaborate with OT, PT, and Speech; drive students when permitted with parent consent.

Fraser Ford is a Special Purpose Private School serving children who require a clinically intensive evidence-based day treatment setting to meet their unique educational and behavioral health needs.

About the Role

Under the supervision and ongoing support of Certified Special Education Teachers and Board Certified Behavior Analysts, the Ed Tech III provides 1:1 direct instruction in social, behavioral, emotional, functional, and academic skills within an Applied Behavior Analysis model; also works along with related service providers in OT, PT, and Speech. Driving students on occasion with parent permission, as part of student goals and/or transition plans to public schools.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 90 college credits required: Bachelor's degree preferred
• Certification as a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) preferred, training provided if needed
• Certification as an Educational Technician III preferred, assistance provided as needed
• Valid Driver's License

We will facilitate obtaining these certifications, and provide paid BHP training, for candidates in need of these certifications
