Job summary

FCDS is seeking a Director of Preschool to serve as chief administrator of the Preschool, guiding policies, programs, curriculum, and budgets to promote student development and staff growth. This exempt, full-time role requires leadership within a twelve-month calendar year, with hours that may exceed 40 per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of three years in an administrative role supervising teachers.
• Proficient with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets).
• Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills; confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the Preschool's operations, programs, curriculum activities and budgets.
• Leads the administrative team and collaborates with division directors and senior admins.
• Recruits, develops, and evaluates Preschool staff; oversees schedules and resources.
• Represents the Preschool in communications with parents, staff, and community.
