Job summary

Kid City USA Oviedo is seeking a Preschool Center Director to lead program quality, guide operations, and uphold the center's mission and values. You will supervise enrollment, billing, and staff development while ensuring compliance with state guidelines and corporate standards.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience in a high-quality child care program, is at least 21, and holds the required Director Credential with CPR/First Aid. This full-time role offers benefits and room for growth.

Qualifications

• At least two years of proven leadership operating a high quality child care program in a leadership role.
• 21 years of age or older (to ensure compliance with state guidelines).
• Director Credential (as required by the state) and CPR/First Aid certification are required.
• State mandated training required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Create a motivating work environment that retains staff
• Manage enrollment, marketing, billing, and accounts payable, while ensuring budget compliance
• Build strong relationships and communicate proactively with families, clients, staff, and licensing
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all state guidelines and implementing all corporate guidelines
• Maintain an organized office space and center environment
• Collaborate with the corporate team and others to evaluate and ensure program quality standards
• Be dependable and have excellent references
• Be passionate for the growth and development of the precious children in our care
• Ability to step into the role of any position in the center to assist the team as needed

Education

Associate or higher degree in early childhood education, child development, education, or related field

Director Credential (as required by the state)
