Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring a Center Director to lead a child care center and oversee daily operations, staff schedules, and family communication.

You will promote a warm, educational environment, ensure licensing standards are met, and partner with the community while supporting a team of teachers and administrators.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CDA, associate, or bachelor’s degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 1–2 years of supervisory/management experience; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be a leader! Manage school staff by planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans, including coaching and communicating standards with teachers.
• Be an expert! Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards and maintain positive partnerships within the community.
• Be an innovator! Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things in a caring, safe learning environment.
• Be a team player! Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.

As a Director, you will:
