Job summary

Hutch Kids Early Learning Center is seeking a Curriculum & Classroom Support Specialist to assist two Seattle Preschool Program classrooms by covering planning time, aiding curriculum implementation, and maintaining child observations and portfolios.

The role focuses on organizing documentation, supporting teachers, and contributing to a developmentally appropriate, child-centered learning environment. This full-time position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a 9am–6pm workday.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Experience in preschool or early childhood settings.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfort using technology for documentation and organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom coverage to support planning time, PTO, and conferences.
• Support curriculum preparation and classroom organization.
• Review, organize, and maintain child observations and developmental documentation.
• Assist with creating and maintaining child portfolios and assessment records.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, organized, and timely.
• Collaborate with teachers and administration to support classroom quality and continuity.
• Prepare classroom materials and assist with learning experiences as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with children, families, and staff.
