Job Description

Qualifications for Preschool Cook:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Meet all state preschool cook requirements
• Minimum of 1 year experience in food planning, preparation, and service following USDA guidelines
• Current Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal preparation, organize food and supplies, wash dishes, distribute meals to classrooms, and maintain kitchen organization and systems
• Perform additional duties such as laundry, cleaning equipment and toys
• This role requires lifting
