Job Summary

We are seeking a Cook for our school to join the team at our Tucker, GA campus. In this role, you will be responsible for creating monthly meal calendars, cooking and serving daily meals for students, and ordering ingredients. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and dedicated to providing an excellent experience for our families.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Align menus with student needs
2. Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
3. Prepare and serve food to each classroom
4. Maintain inventory levels and restock as needed
5. Follow all food safety regulations
6. Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
7. Follow Bright from the Start "My Plate" guidelines
8. Prepare Georgia Food program paperwork
9. Clean the kitchen and school facilities

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification preferred
• Excellent time management skills
