Job Title: Child Care Cook, Food Specialist

This role is more than just a daycare job. It's a journey of learning, growth, and play every day. Working at a childcare center is a special experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Kitchen Skills: Create home-style, nutritious meal plans within the school's menu and budget, complying with state and federal requirements. Prepare meals and snacks for children and staff, and distribute food to classrooms.
2. Health & Safety: Follow the daily menu provided by the Director, ensuring compliance with USDA, licensing, and health department regulations.
3. Organization: Maintain inventory of food and supplies, and reorder as needed.
4. Support: Assist in classrooms as needed, including roles as an Assistant Teacher or Floater.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in cooking or food preparation for multiple individuals in a childcare setting is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to all current state and local regulations.
• Flexibility regarding work hours and schedule.
