Job Description

Preschool Cook Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Meet all state preschool cook requirements
• One year of experience in food planning, preparation, and service following USDA guidelines
• Current Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification preferred

Preschool Cook Job Responsibilities:

• Minor meal preparation, organizing food and supplies storage, dishwashing, meal distribution to classrooms, and maintaining kitchen organization
• Additional duties such as laundry, cleaning equipment and toys as required
• This position requires lifting
