Job summary

Caterpillar Corner – Holt Location is seeking a Classroom Support Specialist to assist the GSRP teaching team. This full-time role supports daily classroom routines, learning experiences, and transitions to provide a safe, engaging preschool environment.

You will collaborate with the Lead Teacher and Center Director, support literacy and math activities, help with meals and behavior guidance, and ensure licensing and health procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool-aged children.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching team.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily schedule and directions by Lead Teacher.
• Assist with lesson plans and learning experiences.
• Support large and small groups, and individual learning.
• Help with meals, transitions, attendance, and routines.
• Maintain organized, engaging, safe classroom environment.
• Communicate observations to Lead Teacher.
• Follow licensing, health, and safety policies.
