Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our Olympia, WA classrooms. Under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will support daily activities and the implementation of Cadence Education programs, helping create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children, including those with IEPs, while ensuring licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Follow safety procedures (Name-to-Face accountability, food allergy, bottle-feeding, Safe Sleep).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a classroom team.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment for each child.
• Greet children and families and build professional relationships.
• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and document incidents.
