NEMCSA is seeking a Preschool Classroom Aide to create a safe, engaging learning space where young children can grow and thrive. You will support development across social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical domains, while partnering with families and teachers to promote school readiness and well-being.

The role emphasizes active classroom involvement, flexible hours when possible, and a commitment to helping children learn and succeed in their early years.

Qualifications

What You'll Do

As aPreschool Classroom Aide, you'll help create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom where children can learn, grow, and build the skills they need for kindergarten success. In this role, you will:

• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
• Assist with classroom activities, behavior support, and daily operations.
• Partner with families through communication, conferences, and home visits.
• Promote children's health, safety, and overall well-being.

Requirements

This role is active and hands-on, supporting young children throughout the day. Team members should be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and using their hands for a variety of classroom activities. The position may occasionally require driving, working flexible hours, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience caring for or working with young children preferred.
