The Learning Experience – Bristow is seeking a reliable School Age Bus Driver to safely transport children to and from local elementary schools while supporting a positive and structured environment for school-age students.

This position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork. Competitive pay and a consistent weekday schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Prior childcare experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
• Experience driving children or passengers preferred.
• Strong reliability, communication, and supervision skills.
• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing and transportation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport school-age children to and from local elementary schools.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain transportation logs.
• Ensure children are safely loaded, secured, and supervised during transportation.
• Maintain compliance with all transportation safety procedures and licensing requirements.
• Support school-age classrooms and activities between transportation runs as needed.
• Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and center leadership.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with children and team members.

Pay: $20–$25 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time, Monday–Friday

School Age Bus Driver

The Learning Experience – Bristow is seeking a reliable and safety-focused School Age Bus Driver to support transportation for our before- and after-school childcare program. This role is responsible for safely transporting children to and from local schools while also supporting a positive and structured environment for school-age students.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and values safety, consistency, and teamwork.
