The Learning Experience in Bristow, VA is seeking a reliable School Age Bus Driver to transport children to and from local schools. This role supports a safe, structured environment for school-age students and helps maintain accurate transportation logs.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with full-time or part-time options, paying $20-$25 per hour. Ideal for someone who values safety, teamwork, and consistent operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving children or passengers preferred.
• Virginia childcare licensing and transportation requirements must be met.
• Prior childcare experience is preferred.
• Strong reliability, communication, and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport school-age children to and from local elementary schools
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain transportation logs
• Ensure children are safely loaded, secured, and supervised during transportation
• Maintain compliance with all transportation safety procedures and licensing requirements
• Support school-age classrooms and activities between transportation runs as needed
• Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and center leadership
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with children and team members
