Position is full time, 180 days/year, 8 hours/day (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM). Salary range $21.95–$26.88 per hour with initial placement up to $24.44/hr, requiring related permits and CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school required.
• Enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program preferred.
• One year experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.
• California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher level permit required.
• Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive child development program for preschool children.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school required. Enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program preferred. One year experience working with children in an educational setting preferred. SCOE Application Must be 18 years old. Must provide own transportation THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION: California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher level permit. Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification (SPECIAL NOTE: Copies of Permits should include the name of the permit, permit details, authorizations, and expiration date. You may obtain a copy from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing website at www.ctc.ca.gov.)
