The Gardner School is hiring an Assistant Teacher for our Arlington location. This full-time role supports the Lead Teacher by implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, while maintaining a safe, engaging classroom aligned with our core values.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• 1+ years experience with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Provide nurturing guidance supporting each child’s emotional and behavioral development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe classroom and support daily routines.
