Job summary

The Gardner School of Schaumburg is looking for an Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher with curriculum and activities for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. The role emphasizes a loving, nurturing approach and teamwork in a state-of-the-art preschool.

You will help maintain a safe, clean classroom, engage with families, and participate in ongoing professional development within a mission-driven culture. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• 1+ years of experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Regular attendance and a joyful approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
