Job summary

Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties in Concord, NH is seeking a Head Start Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher and deliver quality preschool experiences.

This full-time position requires a HS diploma or CDA, NH licensing coursework, and prior early childhood classroom experience. CPR/First Aid and a background check are required; a driver’s license may be needed for occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; CDA credential; NH licensing coursework per NH State requirements.
• Experience in an early childhood classroom.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to income-eligible families.
