Qualifications

• CDA credential, OR enrollment in coursework on track for completion within one year.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within first year of employment.
• Background checks and physical exam required.

Responsibilities

• Implements a child-centered curriculum and learning environment for preschoolers of all abilities.
• Supports social and emotional development of children.
• Observes and addresses challenging behaviors with families to support at home.
• Gathers and maintains individual, family and classroom data for documentation and program planning.
• Creates partnerships with families to encourage involvement in Head Start.
