Job summary

The Gardner School of Eagan is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate curricula for infants to preschoolers. You will help create a loving, safe, and engaging classroom environment that aligns with developmental needs and family expectations.

You will participate in daily routines, maintain classroom standards, and collaborate with colleagues to promote growth, learning, and safety in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA is preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification is required or must be willing to obtain upon hire.
• 1+ years of experience with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher with age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Provide nurturing guidance supporting emotional and behavioral development.
