Job summary

The Gardner School of Edina is seeking an Assistant Teacher for our infant and preschool classrooms. Join a state-of-the-art facility where care, curiosity, and growth are valued daily.

Qualifications

• Must meet Minnesota licensing requirements for Assistant Teacher; High school diploma with 12 quarter credits; CDA or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• 1+ years of experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; regular attendance.
• Passion for early childhood education and a nurturing, joyful approach to care.
• Intermediate PC skills and proficiency with general administrative tasks.
• Active engagement throughout the day including standing, floor activities, bending, and lifting up to ~60 lbs.

Qualifications:

• Education/Certification: Must meet the Minnesota licensing requirements for Assistant Teacher. High school diploma with 12 quarter credits (required); CDA or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

• Ability to fulfill cognitive and interpersonal aspects of a classroom leadership including speaking, hearing, reading, writing, focusing attention, and building relationships.
