Job summary

The Malvern School is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Preschool classroom at The Malvern School of Horsham. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, aligned with our caring, child-centered approach to early education.

The role supports the implementation of a high-quality program, maintains a safe and engaging classroom, and communicates with parents using available technology to meet expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.

Responsibilities

• Teacher assists in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.
