Spring Education Group’s Early Childhood Education Division includes nearly 150 schools offering services from infant care through Pre-K/K programs, summer camp, and after-school programs, with diverse pedagogical approaches including proprietary methods, Montessori, and language immersion programs.

Summary

As a Preschool Assistant Teacher at Chesterbrook Academy, you will help create, manage, and participate in various learning environments and activities that support students' development and learning objectives. Collaborate professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the well-being of the school community.

Responsibilities
  • Culture: Positively influence peers, provide quality education programs, and ensure implementation of approved curricula.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and attractive learning environment, complying with accreditation, licensing, and legal requirements.
  • Educate, Inspire, Engage: Develop lifelong learners, care about children, and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Relationship Building: Work collaboratively with a diverse team, develop relationships with families, students, and the community.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to lift or carry 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid credentials per company and state standards, and ability to pass background checks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to connect with children.
  • Minimum of one of the following:
    • High School Diploma or GED + 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related fields.
    • High School Diploma or GED + 15 relevant credits (or CDA) and at least 1 year of experience with children.
    • High School Diploma or GED + two years of experience with children.
