Alutiingcut Childcare Center is seeking an organized Administrative Assistant to join our team in Kodiak. This role supports the Childcare Center's administrative tasks, interacts with families, and helps maintain a welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates are professional, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced setting. Prior teaching or child care experience is a plus; training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
• Alaska SEED Level 7 Certificate or higher.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain upon hire.
• Able to pass state, federal, and tribal background checks.
• Must be at least 18 years old with professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Alutiingcut Childcare Center.
• Greet families, manage schedules, and assist with daily operations.
• Assist with education and training support as needed.
