Job summary

Oak Ridge Children's Academy & Day Care in Orlando, FL is seeking a Preschool Teacher to join a cohesive teaching team and lead developmentally appropriate activities for children aged 3 years. The role emphasizes collaboration with staff, engagement with families, and delivering a safe, nurturing learning environment.

You will coordinate curriculum, monitor classroom progress, and support staff in daily operations while upholding state standards and center policies.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma and/or degree in Early childhood education or related field of study required.
• FL DCF 45 hours required.
• National CDA highly preferred.
• FL DCF Transcript – Please send transcript to [e-mail].
• Minimum of 2 years of professional early childhood teaching experience.
• Must clear a full level II DCF background check.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus (Spanish/English preferred).
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by creating classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
• Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate exercises to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure all Center policies and state regulations are met.
• Represent Oak Ridge Children’s Academy with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail.
