Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer - Data Security to join our team as a remote, enterprise-focused security advisor.

You will support strategic cybersecurity conversations with CIOs, CSOs, and CISOs, translating technical capabilities into business value and helping develop collateral, use cases, and SOWs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in technical cybersecurity, 3+ years in security pre-sales, and strong DLP/DSPM and encryption expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
• 5+ years in a technical cybersecurity role.
• 3+ years in Security Pre-Sales Consulting.
• Intermediate understanding of security frameworks (NIST, HITRUST, CIS).
• Strong knowledge in DLP, DSPM and file encryption.

Responsibilities

• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solutions and technologies
• Stay current on market trends and emerging technologies
• Engage in self-study to continue building job-related skills

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer - Data Security to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This remote role will support strategic cybersecurity conversations with enterprise customers, helping shape solutions that address complex data protection and security challenges. The position will partner closely with sales leaders and executive stakeholders to translate technical capabilities into business value, while contributing to collateral, use cases, and professional services scoping. Success in this role will come from combining deep data security expertise with strong communication skills and a consultative approach in client-facing presales engagements.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $120,000 – $230,000 annually

Responsibilities
