Summary

• The Pre-Sales Consultant collaborates with regional Sales teams as a technical expert on data protection projects involving partners and customers.
• The role involves working with our Encryption Key Management and Data Protection portfolio, including CipherTrust Manager, High-Speed Encryption, and HSMs.

Job Profile

• Partner with the Sales team to address partner and customer needs regarding our solutions.
• Gain comprehensive knowledge of our products to support your daily activities.
• Engage with prospects to understand their use cases, application environments, and data flows.
• Participate actively in Proof-of-Concept phases during sales engagements.
• Assist with configuration and customization to meet client needs using our flexible solutions.
• Interface with numerous third-party applications, solutions, APIs, and integrations, which may be unfamiliar initially.
• This role is suited for someone eager to learn and interested in technology; a strong desire to acquire new skills is essential.
• The position requires balanced soft skills and technical expertise.
• Travel within the Middle East, mainly in Egypt and UAE, is expected to be around 50%, with some weeks more or less depending on client needs.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 8 years in a customer-facing pre-sales role within Information Security or related fields, with experience presenting to both management (C-level) and technical teams.
• Hands-on problem-solving, architecture design, and solution design skills.
• Experience with cryptography, data protection, and cloud security solutions.
• Knowledge of encryption and cryptography is essential.
• Experience with public and private cloud services across multiple CSPs like Azure and AWS.
• Technical bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
• Expertise in cryptography, PKI, digital signatures, certificates, TLS, encryption, hashing, and APIs such as PKCS #11, REST, CSP/CNG, OpenSSL, JCA/JCE.
• Experience with data discovery, classification solutions, and data encryption at rest and in motion across various environments.
• Proficiency in scripting and software development on Windows and Linux.
• Awareness of virtualization and cloud offerings like VMware, HyperV, Docker, AWS, Azure, etc.
