Job summary

Sheridan is seeking a Prepress Technician for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) to handle production and quality control of plates, assemble content and color proofs, and maintain schedules.

The role includes on-the-job training, tuition reimbursement, career development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. Overtime applies after 40 hours; a $1,000 hiring bonus is offered after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills required.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge required.
• Ability to perform work productively and safely.
• Reliable; good attendance is required.
• Required to work overtime, according to departmental policy.
• Must possess ability to work at a rapid pace.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs. frequently.
• Continuous standing required.
• Frequent walking, handling, and reaching/working overhead required.
• Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawling required.
• Good visual acuity and manual dexterity required.
• Pass company color perception test.
• Must wear hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes.

Schedule is Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM - 40 hours/week

Overtime pays time and a half after 40 hours per week

Eligible for $1,000 hiring bonus after 12 weeks!
