Job summary

Sheridan is seeking a Prepress Technician for the 2nd shift to handle production and quality control of plates, assemble content and color proofs, and maintain schedule and data collection sheets.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, basic computer skills, strong organizational abilities, reliability, and safety awareness. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM with overtime. Eligible for a $1,000 hiring bonus after 12 weeks.

Job Summary:

The Digital Prepress Technician willbe responsible forproduction and quality control of all plates, assembling content and contract color proofs, andmaintainingschedule and data collection sheets.

Basic Qualifications:

• A minimum of a High School diploma or GED/HiSETrequired.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skillsrequired.
• Basic computer skills/knowledgerequired.
• Ability to perform work productively and safely.
• Reliable; good attendance isrequired.
• Required to work overtime, according to departmental policy.
• Mustpossessabilityto work at a rapid pace.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs.frequently.
• Continuous standingrequired.
• Frequent walking, handling, and reaching/working overheadrequired.
• Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawlingrequired.
• Good visual acuity and manual dexterityrequired.
• Passcompanycolorperceptiontest.
• Must wear hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes.

Schedule is Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM - 40 hours/week

Overtime pays time and a half after 40 hours per week

Eligible for $1,000 hiring bonus after 12 weeks!
