The purpose of this position is to provide high quality preparation of production-ready packaging computer files for the final stages of prepress, and to provide SGS customers with the highest quality of technical workmanship.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This is a remote position in the US. We are open to candidates in various states, with the exception of those residing in the following: AK, DC, DE, ME, NH, NM, OK, HI, MS, MT, NV, NE, ND, SD, VT, WY, WV
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $45,292 - $56,615 annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.

High School or better.
Associates or better.
Some college or better.
Must be able to work with various graphic design and layout software applications (Illustrator, InDesign, Esko PackEdge, Photoshop), commonly used on MACs and PCs
Basic color management skills and the ability to work with different digital formats are required
Knowledge of Flexo and Gravure printing processes as it applies to setting up for prepress for packaging
Understanding of traps including size and application
Proven experience using MAC software including Illustrator and Photoshop
Excellent MAC computer skills, including knowledge of MAC stripping
