• Receive, organize, and review incoming graphics files.
• Create preflight data entries that capture production requirements.
• Verify artwork elements & design intents align with CCL requirements.
• Use Mac-based production software (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Esko/DeskPack/AE/WebCenter) to produce proofs & plates.
• Develop production artwork according to preflight notes & CCL requirements.
• Create color separations, apply trapping, format barcodes, etc.
• Monitor the production schedule and arrange workload to meet upcoming jobs.
• Operate the plate engraving machine to expose & image plate materials.
