Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons in De Pere, Wisconsin is seeking a Prelim/Prepress Operator for 2nd shift in a climate controlled environment. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and strong problem solving to support packaging prepress workflows.

In addition to base pay, a $2.00/hr shift premium applies. Candidates must have packaging prepress experience and be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Mac systems, and production file workflows.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to problem solve, analyze potential solutions, and use good judgment.
• Experience with packaging prepress and Flexo print processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create final production files using prepress applications (Adobe Creative Suite) with bleeds and color separation.
• Verify barcodes and quality control for final files.
• Operate Mac, production file server, proof output devices, RIPs, and workflows.
• Perform color corrections for process color files used in Flexo printing.
• Generate proofs for internal reviews and follow standard operating procedures.
• Maintain equipment and supply levels, report repairs as needed.
• Train new and existing team members.
