Position Summary: Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and staying organized? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our consistently warm and ready rotisserie chicken. You will wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure the freshest items are available for members to take home. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with bakery orders. A friendly smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. Be part of a team that offers customers more of what they love, for less.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area.
• Keep shelves clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products.
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food.
• Maintain the Sales Floor in accordance with company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.
• Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates, communicate effectively, and adapt to business needs.
• Be an Expert: prepare food according to item specifications, plan productions, adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management, operate and sanitize equipment, and understand product/layout execution.
• Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality.
• Be an Owner: drive area performance, manage high-exposure tasks, stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date control, reduce waste, and assist customers per company policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: model high-quality service and products, embody energy and commitment, and advocate for the department and club experience.
• Comply with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity; participate in related action plans and open communication channels.
• Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; monitor progress and adapt to feedback.
