Job summary

River Valley Co-op Northampton in Northampton, MA is seeking a Part-time Prepared Foods Team Member II to maintain drip coffee, prepare smoothies, juice and espresso to order, slice meat and cheese to order, and make hot and cold sandwiches while delivering friendly customer service. Requires open availability, including evenings and weekends.

Reports to Prepared Foods Deli Manager. Pay level II, non-exempt.

Qualifications

Organized attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for long hours and work with team members.
Ability to communicate positively with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

Maintain par levels for all items to be used during your shift.
Maintain all service ware for in-house and to-go beverages.
Communicate product needs to the Prepared Foods Deli Manager.
Follow opening/closing procedures as directed by managers.
Maintain correct signage for all products with ingredients, dates, and prices.
Slice to order meats/cheeses; prepare hot and cold sandwiches; make drinks to order.
Provide outstanding customer service with care for customers and products.
Act as information conduit about ingredients and products.
