Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Prepared Foods Team Supervisor to assist in supervising Team Members, maintaining displays, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the department. You will support the Team Leader in achieving high performance, training staff, and upholding health and safety standards.

The role requires leadership, strong customer service, and ability to manage inventory and regulatory policies while maintaining excellent retail execution and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Prepared Foods team procedures and policies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
• Capable of teaching others in a positive and constructive manner.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members.
• Works with Prepared Foods Trainer to train Team Members in high-performance practices.
• Assists in training of new Team Members using learning checklists and materials.
• Keeps cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and rotated.
• Opens and closes department according to procedures.
• Ensures all necessary breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters teamwork and positive morale.
• Directs Team Members to satisfy customer needs and questions.
• Trains, develops and mentors Team Members to sustain high performance.
• Provides timely performance evaluations.
