Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Honolulu seeks a Prepared Foods Team Leader to supervise Team Members, coordinate daily flow, and maintain engaging displays of Prepared Foods, coffee, and juice. You will support the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

The role requires strong leadership, training abilities, and adherence to health and safety regulations, with a focus on teamwork, high performance, and delivering on store standards and company

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Prepared Foods team procedures and policies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
• Capable of teaching others in a positive and constructive manner.
• Product knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies and procedures.
• Proficient with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members.
• Works with Prepared Foods Trainer to train Team Members in a high-performance environment.
• Assists in training of new Team Members using learning checklists and materials.
• Keeps all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and properly rotated.
• Opens and closes department according to established procedures.
• Ensures all necessary breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters and encourages teamwork and morale.
• Maintains awareness of customer flows and directs Team Members to delight customers.
• Selects, trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members.
• Provides timely performance evaluations.
• Models WFM vision and goals.
