Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Colorado is seeking entry-level team members for various Prepared Foods roles. You will assist with production, ensure proper labeling and rotation, and maintain cleanliness in walk-ins and freezers.

Excellent customer service and strong teamwork are essential as you support store programs and health guidelines. Responsibilities include following recipes, handling waste documentation, and participating in required trainings.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensures all prepared foods are properly labeled, dates, initialed, covered, and rotated.
• Ensures product meets guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Documents waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Ensures product production follows recipes and measuring devices.
• Helps customers understand differences between WFM products and conventional stores.
• Keeps walk-ins and freezers clean and organized.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling; answers phones courteously.
