Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking team members for the Prepared Foods area. You will support production, ensure proper labeling and dating, and maintain cleanliness in the department while helping customers understand product choices.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks (lift up to 50 pounds).
• Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production for Prepared Foods venues.
• Label, date, cover, and rotate products properly.
• Ensure products meet WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Follow recipes and use correct measuring devices.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with questions.
• Keep walk‑ins and freezers clean and organized.
• Punctual, groomed, and ready for shifts and trainings.
• Answer phones and pages promptly and courteously.
