Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Chicago is seeking a focused Team Member to assist in Prepared Foods prep, counter service, and stocking. You will uphold health and safety standards while engaging with customers and fellow Team Members to deliver quality products.

You will ensure accuracy of labeling, dates, and rotations, support merchandising standards, and actively participate in trainings and store programs to promote a positive store image.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensures all prepared foods are properly labeled, dates, initialed, covered, and rotated.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Documents waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Ensures product production follows recipes and measuring devices.
• Helps customers understand differences between WFM products and conventional stores.
• Keeps walk-ins and freezers clean and organized.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; participates in trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
